Yesterday I caught a small bird. As akko says it is a love bird. At first I put it in a basket and showed to Amna and Ahil. They were so excited. Amna was running to and from Donthabe's room, calling to Dhonthabe that there was a bird and to get her a cage. All the time she was shouting with glee. They were beside the bird all the time. Akko came and gave it some seeds and water. Seemingly, the bird was very hungry that it even it ate from Akko's hand. They called her 'Mango' as the wings were mostly in yellow colour.
Later I brought the bird upstairs and they spent the following hours peeping and talking about the bird. Once I saw Ahil singing to the bird. At dusk Akko came with a pink cage and the bird got in easily. Food and water was put inside for the bird and now it has officially found a home with excited Amna and Ahil. I hope that the bird finds happiness in our home, with Ahil and Amna. May be in future we will find it a partner but first we have to find out whether its a boy or a girl.

Alhamdhlillah, Through Ahil and Amna, I get so much happiness, My days and nights are filled with taking care of them, the house is filled with their laughter, excitement and shouts. They are sleeping peacefully now, Just before Amna goes to sleep, she requests every night to sit at the table and work on her colouring, With out getting bored she would continue tracing and coloring pictures. She has started forming sentences, and in between she would say 'thee' (ahil thee mammi thee). She loves niaz very much, she feels very comfortable when niaz is around, If he is around , Amna would always have her bottle with him. Next Sunday Amna would be starting school, My Zaailing Preschool. So today I bought her some clothes, a hat and a pair of shoes, She was happy with her shoes which she would call 'feet'. She was wearing it when she went downstairs.

Ahil is such an active child, Maasha Allah, these days I have started the practice of getting him to pray atleast one prayer. He would keep moving while standing and I would insist on him to keep still and look down, I would remind him that Allah is always watching him, Today is the second time that Ahil had a hair cut from a barber. Ahil loves dragons and dinosaurs. At feeding time, Ahil and Amna danced to the song 'Cho Ka Ka Lo (Gummy bear song ) and "Dance with the animals' from Utube.

When they are asleep, I feel very lonely and miss their sounds, I would lie with them and watch their innocent faces and try to plan the activities that I would do with them tomorrow. Allah has blessed me with two beautiful healthy kids, How merciful Allah is, When I lay awake at nights i miss Insha more. May Allah shower His love and blessings on her soul. Amen I love her so much , I love her and she would always be in my heart.

Amna has started talking Alhamdlihhah. She says "amu sad vaane, amu cry kuraane' , 'ehenvaatheeve', 'bappa keekey bunee' ..etc
She goes to school from 2 - 3.15 pm, and she is excited after coming from school, the first thing she says is 'amu colour kuree'. She loves to write and trace and loves to use fiba. Amna and Ahil likes to draw on the tiles with white board markers. Both likes to cut papers. Most of the time, Ahil makes dragons, bat man, snake cutouts and flies/moves them round and round. Today I had a good time while watching KungFu with them, We were laughing together and Ahil was very happy because I was laughing. Ahil doesn't like to go to Quran Class and he always says 'Ahil varah sakaraaiy jahan class ga ehenveema ahil nudhaanan school akah'. Today Ahil read a story with my help, It was the story of the lion and the mouse. Amna is such a loving girl, When she hugs me, she put her arms around my head like she says that she would never let me go, It is so comforting and I want to be with her like that always. Very recently when I was talking about Insha, for the first time Ahil asked me where she was, and said that 'Insha dhaththa mithanah gennanveenu". I know Ahil misses Insha very much eventhough he can't remember anything about her.
Ahil and Amna knows the dua to say when going out from home, Ahil has got the habit of reciting Duas, Surahs and Shahadhah when going to sleep. One night he dreamt of a storm and he got frightened. After that night he never misses to say the duas before going to sleep.
Oh, Allah , I ask humbly to guide me to the correct path,
The path that will also make me give the correct Tharbiyyah to my children.
Amen

today ail gave Amna her milk.in the other days sometime janooca, kudaththa or i used to give her milk. but today ahil gave her milk. it was fun seeing both of them together.
when i was about 5 years old, i used to play with inshudhaththa.in those times, my cousin nunnu used to live in this house. we three used to play together. inshudhaththa used to teach us how to sing little maid songs.we used to sing a lot of songs together.and every time when inshudhaththa used to take me to her room, nunnu cries because we don't take her with us. so every time we take nunnu with us too.every day we made omelets by ourselves. we used to add pepper.we always play who took the cookie.inshudhaththa is a fan of abheejeet, the indion idol singer. she has a picture of him pasted near her bed. i loved to play with inshudhaththa.

when i go, Amna gets so excited that she jumps up and down. she is very fond of me. every time she says akko, my grandmother tells to call her akko dhaththa.and ahil, when i am with him in the evening while he has milk, he never lets anyone else but me give him milk.
Amna is very fond of buttons, bows, beads and other things like it.every time she sees shaffutha with beads, she picks some beads and plays with them.and every time she sees my dress, shirts and jeans with buttons, she plays with them.she thinks that hairballs are spiders. and every time she sees any hairball, she comes toward me and says"pider thuthuu tedj"pider means spider, thuthuu means in kids words thuuthu which are insects and other living things. and tedj in amna's word means there or here. it is fun playing with ahil and Amna.

With the blessings of Allah, Amna and Ahil are growing beautifully. I am struggling with Ahil's constant sickness. I hope one day that Ahil will completely be cured, insha Allah.

Amna has started talking, Alhamdhulillah, It is such a joy to see her trying to say the words after us. She has a keen interest to coluring, Maasha Allah. She takes a colour or a pencil and will start to make dots or blobs on the wall, floor, books whatever is within her reach. Ahil and Amna love to jump from their father's back (while niaz is lying on the bed) on to the bed, I have tried so many times to take a picture while they are high up in the air, but every time I fail, I guess they are much too fast for me.

Ahil is still in love with his toy animals, even though he is so keen to watch cartoons. He will even ask me to cut out a dragon from paper, and he would play with it, imagining that the dragon is real when he makes it fly in the air.

Amna likes to experiment cutting with a small scissor, and she likes to show me her cuttings. She likes when I get excited seeing her doing different things.

Last week we went to Villingilli with the kids. We had a wonderful time, with Ahil and Amna playing on the swings, sliding, playing with sand, climbing the trees, running across the roads especially Ahil shouting Kudathabey Kudathabey. Sometimes Ahil used to refer to his Dad kudathabey ... And by the time we came home we were so tired from all the hectic activities we experienced in Villingili.
